Laughing
Gas
All treatment are done under laughing gas sedation. It’s a technique used for controlling the anxiety during painful dental treatment, and helps to make the dental treatment painless and fearless. It is very common in western countries, though in India it is new technique and only High End clinics have this facility.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
This aims at oral rehabilitation in children with multiple decayed teeth. Treatment involves multi level intervention like root canal, crowns, fillings, extraction with a rationale to improve speech, function and esthetics.
Fluoride
Fluoride reduces the chances of future cavities by 90%. Getting a coat of fluoride every six months will keep the teeth free from cavities.
Sealant
Our teeth has natural pits, which are quite deep sometimes. Food entraps in these deep pits and fissures thereby causing cavities. Sealants are simple (No drill, Only fill) technique to fill those deep pits to shallow ones where food cannot get entrapped.
Composite
Composite is a tooth colored filing that, mostly indicated for permanent teeth.
Strip crowns
They are plastic like crowns for front primary teeth. They look as good as natural teeth (Sometimes even better) bit its strength is less than that of natural milk tooth. Its mostly indicated when the tooth is about to fall in next 1 year.
Dental Extraction
Pulling out a decayed tooth from the jaw, under local anesthesia is called as extraction. In children sometimes they have double row of teeth, that is permanent teeth starts erupting before falling off of milk tooth. In those cases also, milk tooth has to be removed for easy eruption of permanent teeth.
Space maintainer
The tooth if removed from the jaw before/prematurely, the adjacent teeth tilts in the empty space and blocks the space for future tooth to erupt. Therefore to preserve the space, a space maintainer appliance is placed to prevent the loss of space for future tooth to erupt.
ORAL PROPHYLAXIS (Teeth Cleaning)
Cleaning of teeth with spealized instrument which only removes the plaque and tarter from the teeth without damaging the natural layer of enamel/tooth surface.
